Job Title: Fire Protection Technician I
Job Type: Full-time direct hire
Job Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Primary Duties
Helping with the installation of water-based fire sprinkler systems, including start-up through the finish
Follow verbal and written instructions, and read and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities
Perform duties in accordance with the company's safety policy
Manage competing demands and frequent changes in a fast-paced work environment
Qualifications
Must have a strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to visually inspect and service sprinkler and backflow systems
Ability to exercise effective time management skills, prioritize, and work on a timeline
Ability to effectively use backflow test, pipe wrench, various lifts, and common pipe fitting tools
Must have high trainability
Minimum/Preferred Requirements
High school diploma and current driver's license
Plumbing/pipefitting experience and/or Plumber's Apprentice license preferred
Electrical experience preferred
Fire Alarm trainee license and/or OSHA 10 preferred
